How Can I Watch TV On My Computer?

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

I’ve heard it reffered to as Free Satellite TV for Your Computer, Free Tv on the PC, and a slew of other catchy phrases as well. It’s called Free To Air Tv, and the only software program for it I’ve found that works is called Satellite TV For PC.

What it is is a software program that spent years in the R & D phase and once you install it on your PC, you can then watch over three thousand channels from around the world including all the channels here in the U.S. with no monthly subscription. Just like paying for long distance has gone the way of the Do-Do thanks to VOIP, I assume this product will do the same for cable TV and Dish providers. You pay a one time fee for the software and thats it. What you will need in addition to the software is simply a good internet connection and a computer with at least a Pentium 3 processor and a high end graphics card. Whats neat is that you can transfer the signal to your home TV set with a PC – TV Card that is available. So thats it in a nutshell, althoughI did save the best for last. The most expensive package cost around a houndred bucks and has over three thousand channels! I wouldn’t expect the price to stay that low forever, but with over a million downloads allready, who knows. I’ve attached a link to the software program that I believe to be the best out there so you don’t have to go thru what I did.
