Often the shots that were produced for explosions and starships were re-used. In this manner they were able to save a lot of money as explosions can cost a lot. They used this not only on the TV series, but on the films as well.

If you have kids they may have watched Teletubbies before. This is another show that has used this type of footage over and over.

Probably the highest amount of use can be found in commercials that are put out. It can save not only time for the commercial to be completed, but also money. Most of the time the commercials that use this footage will be ones that are talking about a certain issue or political view.

This type of footage will be offered by two different categories of suppliers. You will have the ones that are right managed and the other will be the royalty free group. You can find a lot of items located on sites via the Internet.
